Built for Clinics, Health Centres and Small Hospitals
Most health facilities do not need a large industrial incinerator. They need a compact, reliable unit that destroys infectious waste and sharps every day, runs on a normal power supply and is simple for local staff to operate. Our small MWI medical waste incinerators are designed exactly for this.
- Dual combustion chambers with grate – flue gas residence time of at least 2 seconds
- Treats medical waste, sanitary waste, sharps boxes and small laboratory waste
- Compact footprint – from 1600 × 1200 mm
- 220V power on MWI-20 and MWI-30 (50 or 60 Hz)
- Easy installation and operation – low deployment requirements

Which Size Do You Need?
| Waste per load (incl. sharps boxes) | Suggested model |
|---|---|
| Up to 20 kg | MWI-20 |
| 20–30 kg | MWI-30 |
| 30–50 kg | MWI-50 |
| More than 50 kg | MWI-100 and larger – see dry purification incinerators |
Capacity is per batch (per load). Your daily capacity depends on how many batches you run each day – weigh your daily waste, tell us how many times a day you can operate, and we confirm the model before you order. Read how to choose incinerator capacity.
How It Works
- Preheat the secondary chamber with its burner.
- Load waste through the front door onto the grate.
- Gasification in the primary chamber, with multi-point air supply for complete burnout.
- Secondary combustion – gases burn for at least 2 seconds, reducing smoke, dust and dioxins.
- Remove ash once the chamber has cooled.
Options
- CX-01 small mobile type – MWI-20 on a trolley for assisted movement
- Containerized unit – complete incinerator in a container for field hospitals and remote sites
- PLC touchscreen control – automatic temperature and burner control
- Wet scrubber – for sites with strict emission limits, see wet purification incinerator

FAQ
What is the smallest medical waste incinerator you make?
The MWI-20, with a capacity of 10–20 kg per batch, dimensions of 1600 × 1200 × 1700 mm and a weight of about 1,600 kg.
Can a small medical incinerator burn sharps boxes?
Yes. Safety boxes are loaded whole; the plastic burns and the needles remain as sterile metal in the ash.
Does it run on single-phase power?
The MWI-20 and MWI-30 run on 220V at 50 or 60 Hz. The MWI-50 is available for 220V/50Hz or 380V/50Hz.
How much fuel does a small medical incinerator use?
The MWI-20 burners are rated at about 4–6 kg/h (primary) and 6–10 kg/h (secondary). Actual use depends on waste moisture and operating time – see our running cost guide.
Which fuel can it use?
Each model is available in a fuel-oil (diesel) version or a gas-fired version.
Can you supply many units for a health programme?
Yes. We supply standardised units with documentation and spare parts for multi-site projects.
8 Things Buyers Check – and Our Answers
Government buyers, NGOs and hospitals check the same eight points before they order. Here is how our MWI series answers each one.
| What buyers check | Our answer |
|---|---|
| 1. Emission compliance | Gasification pyrolysis plus high-temperature secondary combustion, flue gas residence ≥ 2 s and low dioxin emission. Third-party emission test reports available on request. |
