MWI series dry purification incinerator

How the Dry Purification Incinerator Works

The MWI series uses gasification incineration with four functional chambers. Flue gas is burned and cleaned inside the unit, so most projects do not need a separate wet scrubbing system.

StageChamberFunction
1Primary (gasification) chamberGasification technology raises the furnace temperature gradually from 200Β°C to 800Β°C, preventing bridging, slagging and sintering
2Mixed combustion chamberFlue gas enters tangentially; a secondary burner and circumferential air supply ensure full mixing with air
3Secondary combustion chamberFlue gas residence time of more than 2 seconds, maximum temperature up to 1200Β°C
4Purification chamberCa(OH)β‚‚ filter bricks neutralise and adsorb acidic gases before discharge

Furnace Wall and Door

  • Layered wall: steel plate β†’ insulation wool β†’ insulating brick β†’ refractory brick, keeping the outer wall below 50Β°C.
  • Door lining: ceramic fibre modules or refractory cement; large furnaces use lighter ceramic fibre modules for easier opening.
  • Controls: electrical control box as standard; PLC intelligent touchscreen cabinet available.

FAQ

What is a dry purification incinerator?

An incinerator that cleans flue gas without water: a high-temperature secondary chamber destroys organics and a purification chamber with Ca(OH)β‚‚ filter bricks neutralises acidic gases.

What temperature does the secondary chamber reach?

Up to 1200Β°C, with a flue gas residence time of more than 2 seconds.

Is the outside of the incinerator hot?

The layered wall keeps the outer wall temperature below 50Β°C.

When do I need a wet purification system instead?

When local emission limits are strict, the waste contains a lot of chlorine, or the site is close to homes. Tell us your emission standard and we will recommend the right configuration.

8 Things Buyers Check – and Our Answers

Government buyers, NGOs and hospitals check the same eight points before they order. Here is how our MWI series answers each one.

What buyers checkOur answer
